Use the right dieline
Work with the drawing for your box model and dimensions. Cutting and folding lines show how the artwork will become a physical object. If the dimensions change, update the artwork file as well.
Keep text and logos safe
Background images should extend into the specified bleed. Text, logos and essential information should stay within the safe area. Follow the dimensions on your project’s dieline rather than applying one margin to every model.
Prepare for the chosen process
Upload files in the Studio or create the artwork with the available tools. Keep logos and text as vectors where possible and check image resolution at the final size. Hot foil stamping and other processes need specific preparation, which should be checked before production.
Approve when everything matches
Check the dimensions, placement, content, colour and finishes on the proof. The 3D preview helps you understand how the artwork wraps around the box, but screen colours remain indicative. For folding cartons, the 10 working days of production start from artwork approval; transit time is additional.
